The secret world of blueberry smoothies


Blueberry smoothies are delicious, affordable and easy to make. They are also packed with nutrition, thanks to the main ingredient- blueberries.

Here are some things you probably didn’t know:

1.    They are delicious, yes, but very low in calories; 100 grams of blueberries is only 57 calories. Perfect ingredient for low calorie smoothie recipes !

2.    They are very high in antioxidants

3.    Research also shows that blueberries can help to reduce blood sugar which makes it an excellent choice ingredient for low sugar smoothie recipes.

4.    They also have a good amounts of potassium, copper, iron and zinc, manganese. Potassium helps to control heart rate and blood pressure, copper and iron are essential in the production of red blood cells.

Talk about a super fruit smoothie uh !!!
