So I finally decided to make up a recipe for green smoothies with low calorie smoothie ingredients that i already know. I mean how hard can it be to come up with a cheap smoothie recipe, right?
So I stopped by Walmart and bought a few green ingredient from the produce department:
- Baby Spinach
- Kale
- Green apples (granny smith)
- Pineapple chunks (Yeah, I know that's not exactly green but the smoothie needs some sweetness)
- Orange Juice
I made my husband try it without telling him what concoction he was drinking, he loved it ! He was shocked when he found out there were spinach and kale in the smoothie.
