Smoothie on a budget with these cheap smoothie recipes

So you are looking for home-made smoothie ideas but you are worried about the cost of fresh fruits? No worries, I totally understand- I myself don’t use fresh fruits in smoothies. I use frozen fruits.

Now you wonder if frozen fruits have the same health benefits as fresh fruits or if they even taste the same?
Well, yes they do. They were harvested, washed and frozen, so they taste perfectly fine. As a matter of fact, their iciness makes them more refreshing on a hot summer day.

You can buy your favorite fruits frozen from your local grocery store, a cup of your favorite yogurt (optional), and a box of Pineapple or orange juice.
Add some milk for extra calcium if you like, blend and enjoy…

Hint: Try pineapple chunks or juice in any smoothie, it’s heavenly. You're welcome! (winks)
